The
operational model that guides the management of A&S
Diversified is built on a simple philosophy that success
builds upon success. It
is also designed to reflect the synergistic respect that
Native Americans have had for complimentary systems and
division of labor. Finally,
it capitalizes on the long-established best business
practice of optimizing core capabilities and integrating
diverse parts to make a stronger organization.
Operationally, each division represents a separate profit
center. At the
same time, each profit center shares support services such
as contract management, accounting, logistics, purchasing,
IT support, and general management.
Where appropriate, equipment and resources are shared
between centers and the cost is shared by each center.
By allowing each center to mature their functional
competencies, each center has grown their specialized
service capabilities. At
the same time, the efficiencies gained by sharing business
operation support are passed on to the individual profit
centers making each more competitive.

management structure allows the seamless creation of
